Located in the small village of Les Thuiles, the 4-star Camping Le Fontarache welcomes you for a successful family vacation. Right in the heart of the Ubaye valley, you can enjoy our rentals surrounded by a highly developed natural environment and a perfect view of the surrounding mountains. Just a few minutes from Barcelonnette, our campsite can be reached in less than 3 hours from Marseille, Nice, Lyon or Grenoble. If you’re coming by train, allow around 50 minutes from Embrun or Gap station.
If you would like more information about the services offered at our campsite, please don’t hesitate to contact us on +334 92 81 90 42. In low season, our reception is open from 9am to 12pm and from 2.30pm to 6pm. In high season, we are open from 8am to 8:45pm, without interruption. Access to the campsite
Getting to Camping Le Fontarache is already a journey in itself through the grandiose landscapes of the Southern Alps. Here’s how to get to Le Potas, 04400 Les Thuiles:
- From the south (Marseille): take the A51 freeway to the Tallard – Barcelonnette exit. Then follow signs for Barcelonnette. Once you’ve passed Barcelonnette, the village of Les Thuiles is just 5 minutes away.
- From the north (Lyon / Grenoble): you can choose between the famous Route Napoléon (N85) or the N75 via the Croix-Haute pass. Join Gap, then Barcelonnette to reach us.
- From Nice: for a spectacular journey in summer, go over the Col de la Bonette, down to Jausiers, through Barcelonnette and on to Les Thuiles.
